This project benefits 4.5 million children and young people and involves 12,000 volunteers.
Despite the negative impact of over 930 U.S. sanctions against the Bolivarian Revolution, thousands of Venezuelan children are benefiting from the community vacation plan taking place this summer.

This social project moves to a new educational center each week so that children in the area have a space to play and meet with friends.
By the second week of August, the vacation plan promoted by President Nicolas Maduro’s administration had involved 3,700 schools and benefited over 84,000 children.
The educational centers invite community social organizations to organize the activities that will take place during the week.
For example, at the Teresa Pages Parra School, children learned about the environment and ecosocialism and participated in cultural and sports activities. Their families were also involved in the activities through educational talks.
On August 7, President Maduro inaugurated the community vacation plan during a ceremony held at Vinicio Adames Park, where he announced that this social project would benefit 4.5 million children and young people over the course of six weeks.
The community vacation plan involves 35 institutions and 12,000 volunteers who are providing services at 5,000 recreational points.
